Thanks for the article, I'm currently struggling to achieve the same goal.
I think an easier option may be to simply add the kickstart as a plain file on the iso image (not include it in the initrd).
You can then use the boot option 'ks=cdrom://path_to_the_kickstart.cfg' on isolinux.cfg. No big differences but it saves you the extraction of the cpio archive every time you want to update the kickstart.

hi, can you please advise how to prompt for the vmotion ip address (similar to the way in which you prompt for fqdn and sc ip)
and then use that variable to set and configure vmotion in the post section?

Hi,

This article is clear in implementation. Thanks for the post. I have implemented this and got 2 errors.
1. I have created a Custom new form for the document library as given above. when i try to create a new folder by New>>Folder, It gives me an error popup saying "Invalid page url".
2. I tried by giving the url manually and it is directing to the new custom page. Here on Save button click, it redirects to Maintenance page with the error "To add an item to a document library, use SPFileCollection.Add()".

Kindly clarify this.
Thanks

Nice script and thanks for sharing. I did want to mention that I am surprised you don't have two users out of 763 that share the same first and last name.

Also, if anyone tries to run this against a really large domain it would be good to do a little error handling in the script to ensure check for the following:
1. Your list of users does not include users that share the same first and last name
2. The targetAddress you are building is actually in use and valid
3. Log errors if SetInfo fails on a user
4. Change your LDAP filter to "(&(objectCategory=User)(objectClass=User))" as what you have will return computer objects and contacts. If Exchange is in the domain then change it to "(&(objectCategory=User)(objectClass=User)(mailnickname=*)(homeMDB=*))" to ensure you have users with valid mailboxes.
5. If oUser.mail is populated, why not just set do this (line 32):
oUser.targetAddress = "SMTP:" & Replace(oUser.mail,"@oldDomain.com","@newdomain.com")
That email address can be easily set on the new user account and ensures that it is unique in your domain (assuming new domain is not already populated with some addresses).

I should note that there are two additional commands that should be set on interfaces that are using static IP addresses.

ip dhcp snooping truct
ip arp spoofing trust

These two functions work in conjunction with each other and I've had problems using the above technique for static IPs unless I set them.
